When will gtx 780 ti be beaten? gtx 880?

This is weird but every time i think of gtx 780ti i just think of a card that might beat it such as the upcoming gtx 880 or something. I just want to have the best gpu forever which is not possible. I also heard the new maxwell architecture wont improve the performance by alot but rather the power consumption. Can someone pls tell me when the gtx 880 is released and will the performance be much better?

well 790 is on its way i think this month and it will beat the 780 ti the only thing is that it has 2 gpu cores on one card it should preform like 2 780 in sli.
there will always be a better card its technology.
if the 780 ti satisfy your needs and im shure it will why do you want to look for a better card it will be overpriced at the first 3 months at least.the 780 ti over the 780 is better there is not a lot of preformance gain for the money you are paying for.
look for what games you want to play and at what settings and what framerates do you want to have.

The Maxwell equivalent will most likely be about 20% better.

I suppose it could be beaten as soon as Titan black becomes available.

I know like im talking about the best single gpu not any dual gpu and i think the titan black isnt much better than the titan itself so it probably wont beat the gtx 780ti. So when will maxwell stuff be released?
