Whenever I enter bios, it says that all of my sata ports are disabled yet it detects my HDD in sata port 1. I have a SSD in m.2 slot 1. My motherboard is a MSI B450 Tomahawk MAX. In the manual it says if a ssd is in m.2 slot 1, only sata ports 5 & 6 would be disabled.

Solution
this is true, only the last two SATA ports should be disabled, and using the second M.2 slot (if there is one which I think there is) would disable SATA ports 1 and 2.

You shouldn't have an issue with it telling you ports are disabled.

Perhaps you may need to update the BIOS as it could be a bug in the firmware.

Otherwise, if it's not causing any actual issues with the system operating as intended, then leave it alone.
