Where and how to get Windows 10

Hello,

I am finishing up my first PC build and I need to choose my OS. I chose Windows 10; but I have absolutely no clue where to buy it. If anybody could give me a link to where to buy it, [Preferably from Amazon] that would be nice.

Also, is USB or disc better for installing the OS? Thanks for any info.

I'd say neither is better than the other, but if you don't have a DVD drive for your computer (many people omit them these days), then, you want to go the USB route, of course.

You can either select the pre-installed USB or use the download in order to purchase the key. If you select the download option you'll need to use the Windows 10 Media Creation Tool to actually make the installation USB or DVD yourself.

When you purchase a Windows license, you are paying for the license, not the install media.

You can download the ISO file to a USB and install that way.

Thanks for that link. Now would that one be 32 or 64 bit?

Ok. What is the difference between 64 and 32?

The essential practical difference is that 64-bit allows your system to support substanitally more RAM, as well as newer programs. 64-bit operating systems are also backwards compatible with 32-bit, which means that if there ARE any 32-bit programs you're trying to install it won't be an issue.
