Where are my favorites

Hello,
where did my favorites go.i am new to computer .there should be a plan that is free to learn how to work and know how to fixes dumb error.can you help me please i am ready to through this thing out the windowHelp me if you can please

"My favorites" is the informal name for bookmarks - that list of websites that you have tagged as being worthy of revisiting.

I have never known them to disappear from the menu.

They are stored in a folder called "Favorites" normally located in a folder called "Documents and Settings" on the C: drive.
