My PSU 8pin cpu header fused internally with the port on my ASRock x79 extreme4. I was able muscle the header out, but the ends of six of the plugs broke off and are still stuck inside.

Where can I find a 8pin cpu port to solder onto my Mobo?

Also, I've never soldered components onto a desktop Motherboard, but I have done a lot of soldering in the past - will there be any complications if I replace bits of a desktop Mobo?

Solution
The only complications I could see is permanently destroying the motherboard if you don't solder it right. If you've done other electronics like a stereo. You should be fine. If all you've done is wires or other high heat surfaces. Be aware that circuit boards can't take too much prolonged heat. Otherwise clean off the old solder, flux it and solder. As you normally would. Be sure none of the solder between pins is touching.

Here is an 8 pin EPS (CPU) motherboard header. Make sure you put it in the correct direction. It would be too easy to reverse it. Resulting in reversing polarity and destroying the board. Note the square and notch pattern...

Edit: I'm pretty sure you can find them in different colors, even UV reactive. If you wanted to snazz it up.

Solution

Asrock charges 40$ for slot damage repair (pcie and ram) so I suppose that would be the price for that too.

@op??
Why was the header fused?
Is there a problem with your psu?
Is there a short somewhere?
Some motherboards will run without anything plugged into the 8 pin cpu header.
That cpu power header is used for added power for many adapters installed in expansion slots as well as for cpu overclocking.

Some will run with only a 4 pin power installed in the 8 pin header.
See if the stuck pins in the header can't be extracted.
