Hello Tomshardware world!

I have a very sweet laptop with a very unsweet problem.

My graphics card blew out and I'm going to replace it myself but I don't know where to buy mobile graphics cards in the USA.

Sager 9262
NVIDIA GeForce Go 9800 GTX 512MB GDDR3 SLI (Up To 1GB Video Memory)

Can anyone please help me???

Thanks in advance.

That's a really good question. I've not had much experience with replacing mobile components. Did you check with the manufacturer?

At one point I found a few sites that would let you configure the parts you wanted with DIY OCZ laptops...you buy the shell and put in the parts. I can't find them right now, but something like that may have it.

2 things, why are you sure it's the video card at fault for whatever is happening? And 2, does the computer have a removable video card? Laptops are a different breed, you can't just swap out a video card in one like you can on a desktop for the most part.

Yes I've already opened it up, blew out the dust and removed the card. It's a stand alone card. Funny how you can't really find laptop parts around the country, when the tread is moving that way as a more popular way of computing. Where's Newegg.com on this one!
