Hello everyone!I'm currently using Windows XP on a stone age PC.I'll get a new rig in March and I'm confused which OS to get.I hear HSA and Mantle may only work with Win8 and if I go for the processors that support it,I'll get Win8.Can anyone tell me if I can use this for multiple fresh installs?:http://www.flipkart.com/microsoft-windows-8-upgrade-pack-32-64-bit/p/itmdgph7qfbzxygz?pid=OPSDGPKBMYYFNCP7&ref=9dd18afe-7128-4ea2-b2be-04491abb5845 And I want to play some old games like Splinter Cell:Chaos theory. How doI get them to run on 8?

If you buy an off the shelf OEM PC from the likes of HP, Dell etc, they have recovery partitions that are already activated.

For multiple fresh installs on a single home built PC, best off getting retail version of Windows 8.1, as less hassle with licence key.

For gaming, just don't get anything with integrated graphics, the exception to this would be a AMD FX processor that has better internal graphics for medium graphics in gaming.

Mantle is currently only supported by AMD video cards.

Ok,here's my situation,my dad and my bros will get PCs soon as well and I want the disk to run on all of them.I can't do that from the downloadaed version can I?I checked this but it seems to be an upgrade pack:http://www.flipkart.com/microsoft-windows-8-upgrade-pack-32-64-bit/p/itmdgph7qfbzxygz?pid=OPSDGPKBMYYFNCP7&ref=7165f8f6-6736-4e7c-a243-8d2dc17b7a58 Will I be able to use it for fresh installs? And AMD A-series chips have integrated gpus, not FX.I'll be getting an all AMD build so no compatability issues there.I'm just asking, will the new Catalyst 13.35 which supports and enables HSA and Dual Graphics only work on Windows 8/.1?
