Where can I find a driver for dell external USB dvdrw drive?

My external dvd rive is not working due to a bad drive I assume. How do I fix?

Will it play a Music cd (not a copy disc) or is it not seen at all ?

When I plug the device in and insert a cd I believe it is trying to read it ( white light goes on) but nothing is seen on the screen. I also noticed that when it is plugged in and I go to "devices" on my computer it is showing an error relating to the missing driver. So could it be that the external device is bad? Test have been run on my system and everything else is fine.

Dell GX10N. I ran a microsoft fixit program and it solved my problem.
