Where can I find the mass storage controller driver?

I have a Sony VAIO VGN-FJ270 and in the device manager, it says that the mass storage controller is missing. Any help is greatly appreciated!

I think in your case, drop down the motherboard option and download the chipset driver.

I did download the chipset driver, but it still appears as missing in the device manager 🙁

The link does work, but it's hosted on a slow FTP server so it's probably haphazard.

I'm mirroring it to make it easier to get hold of:

As a side note, I didn't need to use any compatibility settings to install the driver. Just run it and it seems to work out fine.
