I am trying to make a Win7 64-bit bootable drive from a 32-bit laptop using microsoft's Windows 7 USB/DVD download tool, but I the program comes up with a bootsect error. Where can I get bootsect.exe from?
I found it in the \Boot folder of a 32-bit Windows install ISO. You can probably find the link to download the 32-bit ISO from Digital Rivers if you google it.
I got an error: Undetermined error while formatting.
What are you putting it on?
A 4gb USB Stick
Have another one to try?
Okay, I have used another USB stick that I found lying around. I then repeated the process and the green bar is full and now says 'READY'. Does this mean I can unplug the USB stick or do I click 'Start'?
