Where can I get old GPU's apart from ebay?

Hello,

I have a GTX 650Ti and I did a bottleneck test with my Intel Core i5-3470 @ 3.20 GHz. It seems that my CPU would work really well with a GTX 770 or a Radeon R9 380. Unfortunately, those are quite old GPU's and I don't like buying them off ebay, as I do not like the idea of bidding. I'm from the UK and I was wondering if anyone could recommend any places or websites that would sell any old GPU's?

Many thanks,
Edward

Yes I forgot to mention, I'm not bothered by "Buy it now" although I prefer other websites that will sell old GPU's

Maybe. I have an old computer. I'm not sure if my motherboard will support that GPU but I'll state what motherboard I have anyway:

MSI B75MA-P45 (MS-7798)

Also, when checking with the bottleneck calculator, it says there will be a 15% bottleneck. The website states that Everything over 10% is considered as a bottleneck. I assume that bottleneck percentage it isn't that much of a deal. I would like to hear what you think.

Ignore that site.
Completely.
Never, ever go there again.

Seriously. It is a joke.

Oh, why is that the case?

"Bottleneck" websites are a joke. That's what I think. I would not put any faith in what they say. Period.

As far as compatibility goes I don't think it matters. The 770, 380, or 1050 are all PCIe 3.0 cards. It's not like you are running an old P4 on a 945 chipset that only supports PCIe 1.0. I'm going from memory, but I think the 3470 supports PCIe 3.0 anyways, so there shouldn't be an issue with any of those cards.

You're referring to 'thebottlenecker.com'?

According to them...every possible combination of parts has a "bottleneck"
A few weeks ago, someone here listed that their PC had an "18% bottleneck", and they were all panicked about how to fix that.
AMD system, with newer GPU.
I plugged in my parts, and came up with exactly the same "18%" number. But interestingly, I have an Intel i7-4790k and RX580 GPU.

Completely different parts, exact same 'bottleneck'. For my system, they recommended a Quadro GPU. WHY?
No thought of use case or anything.

It feels like that site just spits out a random number, instead of something factual.
Build a balanced system, and be done with it. Rather than worrying about some random number from some dudes.

On Intel's website it says:

PCI Express Revision - 3.0
So the PCI stuff is fine, would a GTX 1050 be fine for my computer?

It would. I see no reason to buy an old part over a new part. Unless you are on a tight budget and all you can afford is old parts, I see no reason why you should get old parts. I'm not sure if the 1050 is as strong as the 770, but the 1050 will work just fine with your system.

Now I've thought about it, would a GTX 1060 work fine for my computer? I have a CX430 PSU which is enough for the 1060 and as already mentioned I have a PCIe 3 slot. I've seen that the 1060 has much better fps than the 1050 so would my best bet would be to go for the 1060 instead?
