Where can you purchase outdated motherboards?

I'm struggling to find a new (Micro ATX or Mini ITX) motherboard for my LGA 1150 CPU! It's near impossible for me to find one that has 4 ram slots and supports overclocking! It seems like anything that fits my needs is either no longer being sold or is being sold on eBay at a ridiculous markup (200-300 dollars although some were nearly 1800 more!)

Edit: It appears the only one I can find has a q87 chipset which I believe doesn't support overclocking... I'm currently using z97 and would prefer to find another z97 that is capable!

the problem is with old hardwares, you can only search in platforms like eBay and mostly only second-handed.
It is just the way it is.
After some years, if something is broken, it is better to build a new system or at least new proc+mobo+ram

Economically after discounting all the parts, It would make more sense to just stick with the current hardware rather than upgrading with little to no performance benefits! I completely didn't expect LGA 1150 to die as fast as it did. My 4790k still runs great and It's hard to justify upgrading to the 8700k for just a little extra kick!

I was recently looking for a new MB for my 4790k, but used ones I found were costing about double what I paid for one new. I bit the bullet and upgraded my MB, CPU, RAM and GPU.

Yes, this is the big downside of our world.
If your PC kicks the bucket after some few years, you will have to pay dearly for the spareparts. Most of the time, it is better to build a new one (at least new proc, mobo + ram).

Well seems odd that you cant find itx 1150, since on my used market z97 wifi ac is 60$, and other z87/97 msi one around 50-60$ with backplate, no other accesory.

Was looking for a z97 in micro atx size, that narrows down the possibilities by a pretty solid amount...
