Since quite a long time, everyone who is fond of using Microsoft products has been addicted to the navigation pane while working with almost all Microsoft-based applications and programs. The navigation pane allows you to explore your entire interface, and the objects that the program has very easily and quickly.

Same is the case with the navigation pane in MS Access 2013. With the navigation pane in the program, you can easily manage all your tables that the database may have. Not only the tables, but with the help of the navigation pane, you can easily work with the queries, views, forms, etc. by just double-clicking the objects, or by right-clicking them and choosing the appropriate command from the context menu.

Today, you cannot even imagine working on MS Access 2013 without having the navigation pane in the interface. This doesn’t mean that you will not be able to work with the program without it, it is just that you need to go through several interfaces, icons, commands, ribbons, in order to access your desired object in MS Access 2013. This would again consume a decent amount of time which is remarkably saved when the navigation pane is present and all the objects are readily available right at the monitor screen.

If by mistake or deliberately you have removed for disabled the navigation pane in your MS Access 2013 instance, you can get it back very easily, and that too without any administrative intervention. In order to do so, you must follow the steps given below:

■Log on to the computer using any account credentials.

■Make sure that MS Access 2013 is successfully installed on the computer and is running flawlessly.

■Initialize the MS Access 2013 program and open the desired database in which the navigation pane is found missing.

■Once opened, go to the FILE tab from the menu bar.

■From the displayed list, click Options.

■Once done, click OK to save the changes and close the Access Options box.

■Back on the previous interface, on the displayed information box, click OK.

■Go to FILE > Close to close the current database.

    ■After closing, reopened the database.

■You should now be able to see the navigation pane that was missing when the database was opened earlier.
