Question Where did the space on my HDD go?

One of my partition is 48 GB big, shows 12 GB free, but when I calculate all the room files take, it's only 21 GB. Where did the missi ng 15 GB go, and how do i get that back?

Thats probably page file (ssd/hdd ram).

No. the pagefile.sys is not hidden, 1856MB and also within the 21 gB

Windows updates gobbles up lots of space. You can do a system cleanup to delete those files
