Hello Everyone, I do not have very much knowledge when it comes to PCs but I want to build a nice Gaming PC I would like know where do I begin? What components will I need to have a successful setup? Educate me I am very excited to learn and have a passion for gaming!

there a web page called parts picker and store in us called micro center that has good cpu and mb prices. start with a build funds and then go with a few test builds for price. start with good name brand power supply like seasonic. dont cheap out of power supply on a gaming pc. on intel builds if your low on funds look at the locked intel cpu and the b/h chipset mb. go with a boot ssd to start then when you have more funds add a 7200 rpm hard drive latter on as a storage drive. on a first build larger tower full size cases have a lot more room to work with. downside of large case is you may need long sata data cables and eps extender cable so that you can go behind the mb tray and plug the 8 port power plug in. the biggest issue on a first time build is fan/loud pc. make sure you use mb that has 4 pin fan headers and 4 pin case fans. it let the mb control the fan speed as temps in the case get hot. if you plug in 120mm fan into power supply it run at full speed all the time. (fan noise). also watch out for the number of led you use on your pc. with newer cases having glass to see the insides of a rig. having a lot of led turns a pc into a night light. some led do have power buttons that you can turn on or off. but a lot of them dont. if your going to use headphones for gaming try a few sets out at your local gaming store/best buys. see how they sound/feel. you dont wont a set that give you pain after 2-3 hours with them on.

In my opinion, you did yourself a huge favor by coming here and asking first. now if you pay attention you will have a very nice rig at a minimal cost and HEADACHE. trust me that is one part of the PC experience that you want to avoid if possible. So, if I were you I would STOP right now and SLOW down, what I mean is, do your research and figure out what you want and what your expectations are. then you can figure out what your budget is and go about getting yourself to the promised land..... just kidding as soon as you get there you'll figure out it is five miles further down the road. Anyways READ READ READ this forum! there is so much invaluable knowledge and some good people too, so as suggested above start with some beginner guides and soak up some knowledge before you take the plunge. There are a lot of people out there who will take advantage of someone who doesn't know what they're missing ESPECIALLY with PCs. and remember everyone is biased so form your own opinions about what's good and what isn't. just make sure to get an I7 and a gtx 1080ti!
