Wherever the psu has 8pin you can connect the cpu and gpu. The side of the cable which has white letters saying 'CPU' and 'PCI-E' are the ones that go to the cpu and gpu accordingly. The other side goes to the psu in any 8pin socket. For the gpu i think it is recommended to use two separate cables and not one even though corsair gives it with a splitter. It is safer with two separate especially for junction temperatures.
