where do i plug in my headset

so long story short, ive got no clue where the hell to plug in my headset.. as on the io shield it doesnt specify it, other than the mic
motherboard is an msi z97m gaming

there should be a port in the front of your case that makes it easier for you but if you want to put it into the back of the case i believe the audio jack should be green for the headphones and the mic is pink if that dosnt work play some music or youtube video and just put the headphone plug into all the jacks until you get audio. I dont think it will damage or short anything you will just get some static in the headphones until you find the right audio jack

theres only 1 red and 5 blacks, not a green and not a pink
