Where do i plug sata cables into on my motherboard?.

I have the asus m5a97 evo r2.0 motherboard-http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/M5A97_EVO_R20/ and do not know what sata ports to use, there are 2 on the right side labelled as sata 6g 12 and sata 6g34, also on the front labelled as sata6g6 and sata6g5. I only need two ports but which two do i use? Does it matter? Sorry for the nooby question. Thanks .
