Where do I plug the DVI cable into?

Hey,
Do I plug the dvi cable into the GPU or the motherboard. The dvi socket on my GPU looks too big for my cable. Do I need a bigger dvi cable to plug into my GPU to use my GPU?

should be the same size, all DVI ports should be uniform. plug it into your GPU,a s other wise you are using integrated graphics.
