Do not connect it to a case fan header. It is not the same and will kill your rgb controller. The VDG is for some of the Gigabyte and Aorus motherboards that only used the 3 pin connection. other brands all used the 4 pin connector and Gigabyte swapped to that style on the more recent boards. You need to use the same connector that it shows for other brands that uses the 4 pin connector with 1 pin missing. Connect this to one of the D_LED connectors on the motherboard. Do not use one of the LED_C1 or LED_C2 connectors with 4 pins. Those are 12v and will also kill your rgb controller.

from that, I don't think you plug it anywhere.

i assume there is a fan hub in case?

The PWM+ARGB controller lets you connect and control up to eight 6-pin RGB fans and two LED strips. Enhanced compatibility with the most common RGB LED lighting software like AURA Sync or RGB Fusion allows connecting the hub to a compatible motherboard and handing it the full control of the fans' illumination and speed.
fans look like these ones, its where I got quote from - https://www.aqirys.com/product/libra-120mm-3-fan-kit - the fans in this kit have a VGD cable, the others don't seem to.

Technical data seems to contradict itself
The hub supports PWM but the fans don't, so it seems you need to plug the fans into the hub and then the hub gets attached to motherboard. or it might run them using a remote... do you have a remote?

I would check with the case maker before doing anything.

your case manual is very basic, I don't blame you for asking for more info.

I moved question to Cases as its more inline with problem.
