Where do i put the usb+ usb- connector on the asus z170-a mobo

I have shared the link it has the picture of the connetor. Just so you guys could have a better idea. Thanks.

Connect it to either the 4 or 5 pin row on the header. Both of them will be the same

So its like this vcc usb- usbb+ gnd. In the pic flip it over. So it's upside down

Read 1-29 of the manual

it'll have 2 rows of pins and a pin missing in the corner, this should match with the board pins.

usually on the mainboard, the usb port is numbered from 1 to 10, that should be red one first, on the one

be sure by downloading the mainboard manual, it should have those details

Yup depends if the connector has 4 pins or all of the 9 pins. If its got all the connections, it'll only go one way

have you looked at the manual for where your USB headers are?

The same place you put the other USB connection / cable. On the top / underneath it

the connector is 10 pins, but one is removed to force using the dual usb connector that only goes in a unique direction

if you can't or won'¿t follow the manual, red is most times 5v+ and goes on pin one or pin two

in that direction should end in pin 7 or pin 8

pin 9 is unused or a ground, pin 10 is the missing one

be sure to check the mainboard because if we are wrong, whatever you connect there will end fried, i killed a usb mouse this way with a connector that didn't came like yours, it came with all 4 usb cables separated and manual wasn't clear enough or it was wrong

also consider changing that psu idf what you are showing us is the front usb 2 ports of the case, if it is another connector, you will have to believe the manual or us, then risk a usb device and put it in there and see how it goes and hope it doesn't fry the usb cable or the usb port in the motherboard, both are possiblilities
