Where do you find the discoverability sttings for bluetooth

when I click om me blue tooth icon on my lap top and click on blue tooth settings and allow blue tooth devices to find this lap top it says an error occured while windows was saving your settings blue tooth device might be unplugged the following settings were not saved dicoverability settings and connection settings how can i get those two settings back?

You would need to activate another bluetooth device for your laptop to find, like a mobile phone.
