I loaded up windows 10 on a USB crrated through Microsoft website. I'm trying to instal to a new pc and it worked and got to the "where do you want to install Windows?" Screen and nothing is showing up. I have a hdd installed and it's just not showing up.

Solution
Well if it's not detected in the bios(not in boot priorities, there it may not show. in teh dedicated sata devices). outisde of changing the cable and sata port, i whink all that's left to do is declare it dead.
Assuming you are on Intel, go in the BIOS and [strike]put the sata controller in AHCI mode(not teh legacy ones mentioned above)[/strike]
load optimized defaults.

Get the latest drivers from here: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25165/Intel-Rapid-Storage-Technology-Intel-RST-RAID-Driver?product=55005
File: f6flpy-x64.zip. Unzip it to a folder on a USB drive(it can be teh one with windows on it).

Disconnect all the drives except the one you're installing to, then go into the BIOS and under "boot" disable CSM and enable "secure boot"(both in the BOOT section)

Start the install and when it asks where to install hit "have disk" and point it to the folder you put the above files in.

then hit shift +f10 then:
diskpart
list disk
select disk x(x beeing the drive you are installing to)
clean
convert gpt
exit
exit

then hit refresh and select "create" to make a partition for windows as big as you require it. windows will create several partitions and auto-select the proper one to install to.

WARNING: this will erase all partitions and data on the drive

Wanna say that in a way I understand. This is my first pc.

Seeing as this is your first PC, I've revise my previous post. If you follow it, you will install succesfully and in teh proper way.

Type your motherboard's brand and model in the Google search bar and open the mobo's manufacturer product page link > click Support > Downloads > User manual > download it and click on the index > BIOS/Setup > look for the SATA controller settings > change the settings as necessary following above instructions, first applying AHCI and if still nothing, apply the IDE Mode settings.

None of this part can happen, im running a MSI H110M Gaming motherboard and in the bios there is none of these options under boot

"Disconnect all the drives except the one you're installing to, then go into the BIOS and under "boot" disable CSM and enable "secure boot"(both in the BOOT section)"

And going on past that, I can't segment the hard drive because the instal doesn't detect it.

Correct, it's set to that. I think my hard drive is malfunctioning/dead.
