Windows 2000 sees two gameport in the device manager, the one from my Creative soundcard and another Standard gameport that keeps my Creative gameport from functionning.
I reinstalled Win2K from scratch without my soundcard in the computer and Win2k still detects this Standard Gameport.

Hmm, that's a bit wierd. Do you have one on the MB? You should be able to disable it in either control pannel or if it's on the MB in the bios.

I have an A7V without audio which means without gameport. This problem arises only in win2k, not in win98
