Where does the jumper go??

I'm using a lite- on it internal pc burner as an external burner temporarily to complete a project.However I'm not sure where the junper goes. Can anybody help?

What jumper
Give exact model
Old ATA disks (pata or IDE all same ) used ribbon cable with master & slave setting as 2 devices can be on same cable
Nearly always jumper setting marked on case label

Modern Sata drives rarely need jumpers

Can you be more specific, what jumper? What kind of I/O is the burner? IDE / SATA?
