I finally got my old 960T stable (Turbo off) at 4GHz. (I know, old system) I'm wondering where that would fall on Tom's CPU Hierarchy Chart? The overclock makes it faster than the 980 BE which is in the 3rd tier. Do ya suppose it's worthy enough to be in the 2nd tier yet?

I think of this 'tier' thing as a guideline for people who are new to PC components.

What matters is how the CPU performs in the things you are doing. If the CPU doesn't do what you need it to do, then it could be in the top tier and still be useless to you.

Any reason this would matter? The oc makes it faster so yeah that would move it up but the cpu is still really weak compared to what we have nowadays.
