Hello all,

I've got a tricky question about my computer. I really don't know where to upgrade first.

My parts:

CPU: intel i5 2400
GPU: PNY GTX 1050 2 GB
MOBO: Biostar B75MU3+ MicroATX
RAM: SAMSUNG 8GB DDR3 (This and the HDD where transferred from a Dell Inspiron 3650)
HDD: Seagate 1 TB 7200RPM
CASE: NZXT white case (like in most YouTube builds)
PSU: 650W Rosewill 80+ Gold Certified

Really I'd like some ideas that aren't too unrealistic. Either way I expect to have to replace the motherboard and processor sometime soon.

Thanks in advance!

You should go for a CPU mobo and RAM upgrade for now, I´d suggest getting either a Ryzen or an Intel´s 8th generation CPU, choose which is in your money range, the CPU upgrade may give you a significant upgrade in games, your GPU is decent for playing at 1080p low-mdium present in heavy games so I think that u´ll be good with the CPU upgrade. Oh and an SSD would help too, but this last one is only for loading times and it is not "necessary".

What is your monitor's resolution and refresh rate?

What games do you play?

What do you feel is falling short, and what are your goals in terms of improvement? (ie: more frames per second? higher quality graphics settings without loss of fps? etc)
