My pc specs:
Xigma tek NRP-PC602 power supply
ASUS P5L 1394 motherboard
Intel Pentium 4 3.00GHZ chip
4 GB ram (not sure what make)
Windows 7 Ultimate N 32 bit
120GB Corsair Force 3 SSD
I recently made a fresh install of windows on my new SSD and noticed on task manager I only had about 1.3GB of ram 'free', the total 3.4GB and 1.5GB cached, im not sure what cached means but it seems like I am only able to use my 'free' ram
I know that windows on a fresh install shouldnt use that much ram and with nothing but drivers and basic programs like antivirus installed I still have just over 1GB of ram, and I dont know how 4GB is reduced to 1GB.
Am I missing something completely, like something I dont know? I would be glad if someone could help me with it.
