Where is all of my hard drive space going

1. I have 500gb ssd and im looking at my Programs and Features and i only have 300gb of currently installed programs and 60gb of free storage, so where is my other 140gb of my storage keep going, over time its been decreasing.

2. My second question is, is there a way to add on more storage for your main hard drive or do i need to buy a whole new 1TB hard drive and replace it

Temp files, system restore if it's enabled, hibernation if it's enabled. If you dont use hibernation or system restore, turn them off

use ccleaner and delete the temp files etc

I forgot i had cleaner, is there anything that i need to make sure i dont clean? For example Internet Cache

Download WinDirStat and run it on your SSD. It will help identify temp files and whatever else is on there that you do not need. You can also right click on your drive in file manager and select properties, and hit disk cleanup. Once you start this also select system files and do the cleanup.

It's probably the internet cache thats using up the space.

And run disk cleanup from start. Tick whatever is using up the space, if you want

I can use CCleanerc but is it ok to delete your internet cache?

Yup I do. Once you go to sites again, it'll fill up again anyway

So i cleaned about 8gb, still over 120 gb getting taken up from i dont know
