After the last Windows 10 update, the file explorer is showing blank. I can fix this by restarting or logging out windows and relogging again. When I go to Task Manager, I don't see a Windows Explorer or File Explorer on the processes.

How do I restart File Explorer or Windows Explorer?

It's just showing this blank thing and Ican't go to my C drive. It's like it's trying to load, but it never does

I'm fully updated and Windows Explorer has not changed.

Try removing any flash drives or any other non-necessary drives to see if that helps.

See the green bar? This usually means Explorer is trying to read a drive. If it's slow, or stops, there is likely an issue with the drive. Try scanning all disks for errors. CHKDSK /r

If nothing works, try SFC /scannow (run command prompt as Admin), then reboot.

CCleaner doesn't have a registry repair option. It has a registry cleaner which removes outdated/unused entries left in the registry. It's very unlikely to fix any issue, and can cause issues if it deletes a valid entry.

I'm not sure how your issue was fixed, however I'm glad it was fixed.

If you continue to have the problem it's likely a bad or damaged drive.
