[SOLVED] Where is my bottleneck?

I recently upgraded CPU Mobo and Memory. I play PUBG, diablo, overwatch and still have some issues... for specifics i play pubg at "very low" settings across the board but still have issues at time rendering etc. Thought i would at least get medium with current setup. Whats messing me up, memory? would adding 2 more 4gb of same memory help that much?

Monitor - 2560x1440 (Asus PB278)
CPU - I5 8400
Mem - 8Gb DDR4 2666
Video card - GTX 970
SDD - Samsung 850 EVO 256 (has games and OS on it, i do have a a M.2 slot i could use but didnt think upgrading from the 850 would make much difference..)

try to reduce resolution, if it gets better, its your GPU
otherwise cpu/ram

I think the resolution you are running at is making you suffer.

One thing I see is that you could easily go with a much more powerful GPU....and you might want to go to 16 GB.....but I think the main thing that's slowing you down now is your GPU.
