Where is my HDD please?

Hello I am trying to find my HDD. I have read through another thread but it wasnt to helpful. I have these pictures, they may be of use. https://imgur.com/a/Md7Sj and https://imgur.com/a/cRjrO Please help me

If the WD is new format it in disk management. Then you should be able to see / use it

Hey Paul, thank you for your reply. When I right click on it the options i have are Update driver software, disable, uninstall, scan for hardware changes and properties. Does this mean it has already been formatted. If not how do I go about doing this please?

Wrong place. Go to start / type in compmgmt.msc click on disk management. If the WD appears here right mouse on it / format. Do a quick format

I did this and it said it didnt have an option to format just to put online i did this and this is what it looks like now https://imgur.com/a/Y3Lxy but it still isnt showing up on my computer. I broke it didn't I ? 🙁

What version of windows is installed? And whats the mobo?

Is the wd hdd new? Not too sure why the format option wouldnt be there if it is

Try another sata port... Shut it down first see if that fixes it

If the main hard drive is formatted in GPT / the mobo has a UEFI BIOS, if the WD hdd is empty convert it to GPT
