Where is My OS stored?

Im looking to buy all the parts for my computer here listed on this PCPartPicker: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/BkKKNN and then take the GTX 950 and my 500GB Storage out of the computer I have now and put it in there. I was just wondering if I took the storage out of my old computer and put it in the new one I am getting if I would still have Windows 10 or not. I dont want to spend the $60 on a new storage device and then also $120 on Windows 10. Sorry for the hassle, Im new to all of this stuff. Thanks!

Follow these steps before moving hdd and you can move the licence from old PC to new one: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/20530/windows-10-reactivating-after-hardware-change

Download the Windows 10 media creation tool and use it to make a win 10 installer on USB << this will be latest version so you can reactivate win 10 on news PC

HDD might just boot up fine in new PC but you may need USB installer in case it doesn't and you have to clean install. Back up everything you need before moving it.
