Question Where is the CMOS battery on my Toshiba Satellite laptop ?

I have a Toshiba Satellite S55t-B5233 laptop. Works fine but keeps losing the date and time when its off for more than a day or two. It's as if the CMOS battery has gone bad, but I cannot find any reference on the internet about the cmos battery location for this device. Opened it up and do not see anything that looks like a cmos battery. Help!

Lot of sites are saying that the Satellite Models have their CMOS batts on the bac of the laptop . . . but as far as what you've said there isn't really any references to that specific model you got. Try taking out (disconnecting ) the main battery, and then power flush the system. IIRC some Toshiba laptops have the CMOS integrated in the main battery.
