[SOLVED] Where is the game window...

Hello all. I started up doom eternal. It came on just fine. Then my son chose to switch to borderless window and now we can hear the game but cannot see the game. Everything is updated. Strange that when I started game it did not start up on my default screen went to one of my other two. What's going on? Thx

one possible fix is turn off steam overlay. It seems even if it did work that mode is buggy, I can see problems going back to last year.

If you experience issues with launching DOOM Eternal on PC after changing your display settings in-game you can try resetting your display settings by removing a DOOM Eternal configuration file:

1. Navigate to C:\Users\<username>\Saved Games\id Software\DOOMEternal\base and locate the DOOMEternalConfig.local file.
2. Cut and paste this file to another directory, such as your desktop, to back it up.
3. Launch the game again and some graphical settings will be automatically reset.

If you do not see any improvement you may return your original config file to its original location to restore your customized settings.

You can try alt+enter while tabbed into the game as well. That should toggle the windowed mode so you can fix the settings, and i'd check the target display in settings for it showing up on the other two
