yes your manual can be found @ http://download.msi.com/archive/mnu_exe/E7977v1.0.zip I looked through it and saw nothing regarding a rgb connector

Yes you have the "msi z170a gaming m5 " motherboard and looking for the rgb header.
I looked in the manual and according to the manual I listed earlier, this doesn't exists for your motherboard
