Where is windows.old folder

I have a drive that i reinstalled windows 7 (did not erase the drive) on and then upgraded to windows 10 and back to 7 and now the windows.old file is gone and it is taking up a chuck of space (100 gigs or so) so how do i find the windows.old folder?? Its a 600gb hatachi 5400rpm drive and after i installed win 7 there was about 400gb left

I've pretty much always formatted my drives when I install windows...
I think it's usually just in the root of the drive it used to be in.
Maybe it's hidden?
To show hidden folders and files: Open file explorer -> click "View" -> options -> in the window that pops up, go to "view" -> find the option "hidden files and folders" change that.

You can use the in built software, try running disk clean up and that should find it and give you the option to delete it

Right, nevermind... use disk cleaner

nope,just run the windows disk cleaner.it will give you the option to delete windows old.
