Question Where or how can you find release dates and/or manufacturing dates of current, upcoming, etc. monitors?

I am not able to find release dates for most if not all monitors. Not sure if there are any sites that list monitors by release dates.

I've had this monitor for probably 1 yr less than my other rig, so likely 7-8 yrs. It's a good monitor for the price i paid at the time ($190-$390, think the original price was that much, but it was on sale), but for my second monitor I want to be happy with my purchase, and so I want to be able to look through newer monitors that has the best features... if this info was more readily available, I think a lot of older monitors would drop in price.

Also, is there any way to find manufacturing dates of a monitor? As in the date the individual product was made.

Rtings is the place for you to go. If there's a review of any new/old monitors, it's there you will find the most comprehensive one. www.rtings.com
