Hey guys it's(gonna)be my first time building a computer! I plan on installing Windows 10 on it but the keys on the microsoft website are too expensive! I really dont have much money to spend on a operating system...I saw some cheap keys from kinguin and microsoftsoftwareswap that are like $30. So where should I get the key from? Should I get the key from Microsoft?
Here are my pc specs:
Cpu: amd fx 8320e (I know 🙁)
Graphics card: rx 480 or 470
Ram: g.skill ripjaws 1600mhz (8gb 4×2)
Motherboard: msi 970 gaming
Psu: evga 600b
Case: corsair spec 01
Fans: fan that came with the case and a cooler master sickle flow 120 red led
Os: windows 10

Thanks for reading and replying! Helps a lot :)

Anything significantly lower that what Microsoft is selling their own product for, likely is not legitimate and I expect you'll find yourself out $30 and still without an OS.

Always purchase from legitimate web sites like Newegg (my personal recommendation). As for the cost, that's a cost that MUST be included in your budget when building a PC.

I'd personally buy it from Microsoft. I don't know about Kinguin, but microsoftsoftwareswap doesn't seem legit to me:

I strongly recommend either 2 4gb ram sticks or a single 8gb ram stick and add another one when you are not on a budget. Otherwise you will limit yourself to 8gb of ram, which is not going to be enough for games soon.-

Anything that is not from Microsoft or a Microsoft OEM partner is not legit. That includes Kinguin and Reddit Software Swap.
