[SOLVED] Where should I connect a second monitor to?

I am going to buy a new monitor and use my current monitor as my secondary monitor, but i don't know if I should connect my second monitor to my GPU or the iGPU HDMI on my motherboard. My current GPU(RTX 3070) is overkill for my current montior(1080p 60hz), am planning to buy 1440p 165hz from LG with G-SYNC, so connect to iGPU or dGPU?
Specs: i7 10700
RTX 3070
16 GB 3200 MHz
512 GB Saumsung 970 EVO Plus SSD + 1TB Seagate HDD

GPU if you have a 3070, it can easily run 2 monitors at once.

So, there will be minimal performance reduction right then im fine

it would be a waste to get that monitor and not use it on the 3070. You should be fine running both off it, they can run up to 4 monitors at once though not at high refresh rates on all.
