Ok thanks, also do the licenses ever go on sale? You can use the code from a physical install on a USB you made yourself.
Alternatively you can use the windows install media you create, finish the install without a licence, and buy/add one once you finish the install.
Ok thanks, I’ve heard that Kinguin is good and allows returns if it doesn’t work and stuff, is this true?ALWAYS download Windows directly from Microsoft.

As for a key, I suggest you read this before spending any money. This article explains all of the places to get keys as well as the pros and cons of each.

Everyone will agree that buying a key from an official retailer (EX: Newegg, Amazon, Outlet PC, B+H) is the safest way to get windows 10, however, this route is expensive.
You can run windows 10 unactivated for as long as you like. It is free but does have a few restrictions.
Or you can go with a cheap key from sites like G2A, SCDkeys, and GVGmall. These keys usually work (I have had luck with SCDkeys) and are far more affordable than the $100 keys you see elsewhere. The issue is there is no way to verify where the key came from, whether it will work, or what happens if it doesnt work.
Ok thanks, do you know any place I could ask someone who has bought an oem from Kinguin? The Toms Hardware article I liked talks about Kinguin and returns specifically under the heading "Buy a Cheap Windows 10 Key From a Third-Party Seller"
Basically, the VP of communications at Kinguin says this:
“If there's ever a problem with a key being already activated or something like that, our customer support team helps you get a new key… And that merchant would be in deep trouble, so they are very careful with it,” Jordan said."
In theory you should be able to get help. I cannot vouch for this.
Ok thanks for the link, I might get it from there, I’ll keep you updated if I do.I'm sure someone here has purchased an OEM key from Kinguin.
Remember, every person's experience may differ.

I bought Windows 10 PRO OEM for $14 from SCDKey over a year ago. No issues at all and still 100% activated.
Its $16.50 now.
