Hi!
Just bought 4 corsair ML140, two of which I will use as case fans, and the other two I will use as intakes on my radiator. My AIO cooler is a Corsair h115i which is connected to the mobo with a 3-pin in the cpu header. The radiator fans are then connected to the to two female wires that come from the pump of the AIO. Essentially the radiator fans are only connected to the mobo through the 3-pin that goes into the cpu header (besides the usb wire).
Since I have heard that the ML140 NEED to be connected using PWM I am wondering if I should connect them to the female or directly into the mobo. (does the usb somehow make the fans run in PWM?)
If I need to connect it into the mobo then I don't have enough 4-pin cha_fan to connect them all since my mobo only has 3 of these.
Hope it is not too complicated in the phrasing!
Any help is much obliged!!

Corsair ML series doesn't "need" PWM control, they work with DC control too. I have 6x Corsair ML series fans in my Skylake build with 3 of them controlled via DC while rest have PWM control (full specs with pics in my sig).

H115i supports PWM control since the stock fans are also 4-pin fans and you don't need to rewire your rad fans.
The 3-pin wire that goes from the AIO to CPU_FAN is used only to report rad fan speed to the BIOS. The actual speed of the rad fans are controlled via the USB cable that goes from the pump to the MoBo USB 2.0 internal connector. You need to use Corsair Link software to control the speed of your rad fans.
