Where should I plug in the 6-pin connector?

I recently purchased a Gtx 950 graphics card but have run into an installation issue. I'm not sure where to plug the loose connectors in on the power supply.

I'd prefer not to have to upgrade my power supply, but if need be, please recommend a model. Thanks in advance.

Are you talking about the molex to 6 pin adapter that comes with the video card? You only use that if your power supply doesn't have a 6 pin PCIe adapter. Those plug into molex connectors from your power supply. If you don't have a 6 pin PCIe or molex connectors on your PSU, you will have to replace it.

Yes, you will need to upgrade the PSU. The Molex to 6pin adapter is really only good as a last resort, and if you don't have two free Molex plugs.....it's a sure sign that your PSU isn't going to be able to reliably power your new card.

I appreciate your reply. It seems I'll have to upgrade as I don't have any molexes or 6pins that aren't already in use. Also, I didn't realize that was an adapter. I thought that it HAD to be connected via molexes. It was helpful that you cleared that up for me (I'm relatively new to hardware).
