where should one stronger fan be placed?

Here is a diagram of my current setup of fans.

I would like to know if its a good idea to move fan 4 to spot 3 or 6, or leave it where it is.. currently the airflow is going straight up almost evenly, but if I switch the fans positions it can create a negative airflow trying to let more hot air to escape or change the direction but allow more cool air on my GPU

final note that fan 3 barely feels like it does anything compared to fans 1 and 2

thanks in advance

Hey, which of the marked slots are equipped with which fans?
Guessing: Regarding your airflow if all spots are equipped I would suggest to skip #4 allowing that the intake more or less equals the outtake and the airflow really crosses all components.
If #3 is not equipped please move #4 to #3. Hope I understood your setup correctly.

Simply try both variants with measuring CPU und GPU temp under full load and report back the results.

all the fans are equipped, and their cfm is written, - I am thinking of switching 3 with 4 to get more hot air out, but unbolting the bottom fan is annoying which is why I do not want to do trial and error

Ok, your setup is fine but i would suggest you to swap the 2 with 3. As it will improve the airflow a little bit, given the cfm provided by you are exactly accurate.
And dont swap 3 with 4, it will create a little negative airflow, you always want a positive airflow setup in your case. Intake>=exhaust.

Air pressure is measured in mmH2O (millimetre of water) higher volume flow (CFM or cubic feet per minute) usually means higher pressure, but not always. I depends on the shape of the blades as well.

In general having the same number of intake and exhaust fans you´d better put the stronger ones to intake position. That way you have the positive air pessure for sure, even if your intakes are obstructed by dust filters or non-mesh panels.

MERGED QUESTION
Question from kurtis.itouch : "where to relocate fans"

Here is a diagram of my current setup of fans.

https://postimg.cc/image/3yq9bls9z/

fans 1 and 2 are 140mm and cannot be swapped, unless I buy stronger 140mm fans
the rest are 120mm fans, including the CPU, cpu is a stock fan that came with the heatsink 2 years ago, not sure what its cfm is

I would like to know if its a good idea to move fan 4 to spot 3 or spot 6, or leave it where it is.. currently the airflow is going straight up almost evenly, but if I switch the fans positions it can create a negative airflow trying to let more hot air to escape or change the direction but allow more cool air on my GPU.

Also I might be getting a 200 RPM, 120mm fan in the next few days but im not sure if its going to make much of a difference, if I do go through with it should I place it at the bottom and move the bottom one to either 3, or replace the CPU fan?

thanks in advance, also please note im just asking for relocation advice, an explanation of why you think I should move the fan to a certain spot would be nice as well
