Where to Build PC?

I'm going to start my PC build in a few days and I just realized my house is almost carpet everywhere. Basically the only room without carpet is my Kitchen/Dining Room. Would it be OK to build my PC on my wooden kitchen table? I would for sure take the tablecloth off.

Yep, that is fine. (technically so is carpet, you just have to be careful about grounding yourself to the chassis)
