Hi,

I'm looking to build a new PC and transfer a bunch of components from an old one. I've been looking at custom PC sites (aria, dino pc, overclockers etc) but they all seem to sell complete PC's. I'm also reluctant to build one completely from scratch right now.

What I'm ideally after is just a case, with motherboard, cpu and hard drive installed, but nothing else - I've already got ample RAM, a decent GPU and soundcard, and good power supply, and dvd drive.

Is there anywhere that does this sort of thing?

What you are looking for is referred to as a Barebones PC. They vary a lot but usually include a Case, Motherboard, PSU and RAM.

I would recommend just building it from scratch. Getting a barebones system severely limits your options and will most likely end up costing you more.

It may seem like the easier option but really it's not that much of a difference to build yourself. Fitting the power supply is 4 screws. The motherboard is another 7-8 screws and the RAM simply clips in.
