Question Where to connect the other end of the internal USB cable ?

Hi all, I’ve put the ‘usb’ cable into the motherboard header but the other end isn’t connected to anything, any idea where this should go? Can’t seem to find any answers online

If I understand this correctly, it doesn't connect to anywhere because it isn't, its straight to the case's front panel.

But yeah, be specific. What's your motherboard and what's your case? Also maybe some picture to give us a representative on what you mean. You'll need to host your images in image hosting site like imgur for this forum.

Do you mean that "other end" is just dangling. can you see that end ?

My solution with a USB 3.2 Gen 1 flying lead from the motherboard ending in a USB-C connector and an old Lian Li case was to drill a small aperture in a 5.25in blanking plate and secure the socket with a couple of screws. Not very pretty, but it's functional.
