Question Where to download windows 10 iso not media creation tool

I had windows 8 back in the day... there was a period when microsoft offered windows 10 pro upgrade free , which i took...

The thing is , my copy of windows 10 had a boot file problem so I thought i'd download the media creation tool on my old xp machine , i dusted of the xp comp and downloaded the creation tool but it doesnt work on xp
So I have my old windows 8 install disk , I installed and now using windows 8
I cant update as 8 is EoL , the media creation tool wont run on this version either.

Where can I get a copy of windows 10 installation iso to install windows 10 and get back to where I was before

I asked this question on windows official forums , it is resolved so far in that they helped me to download the iso , I'll burn to dvd then install afterwards and report back incase someone has this problem too

I used option 2 from the microsoft forum post i linked to above and have installed windows 10 and now Im up to date with windows updates and also windows 10 is now activated.
