I got an Intel core 2 Quad Q9650 cpu from Craigslist a while back and it came with a Foxconn motherboard, labeled 14AD15GS1.

I can't find any information on the motherboard, specification-wise. The Foxconn site was down a while back, and is up now but doesn't have any old motherboard info. I could not get into the motherboard's BIOS, at least with the Q9650 cpu and some DDR2 RAM i had on hand.

There are a few for sale on Ebay, but there is little information about the motherboard itself.

Anybody know anything about this motherboard? Specs?

Thanks.

Yeah, 14AD15GS1 isn't a "model" number of the board, as far as I can tell. That same sequence appears on various other boards (differing sockets etc, so not unique to this board as a "model").

I don't see anything on that board that even suggests it's a Foxconn board? Of the era, they'd have Foxconn on the chipset heatsink, typically. Doesn't mean it isn't of course (could be OEM, could've had the heatsink replaced). Foxconn would supply the socket itself most likely, which is probably where you picked that up?

Looks to be a BCM RX45Q - basically an OEM board.

Do you have a picture of this board? The only references to that part number (suspect it isn't actually a model) via Google brings me to a couple of AM2 ITX motherboard, with an odd form factor - ITXesque, with a non-standard socket location.

That doesn't jive with your C2Q (LGA775), so I suspect you've got some kind of OEM board.

I took some photos of the board, including two of the only text written on the board.

The board is definitely micro ATX, and socket LGA775. There was a down-draft style cooler which fit another LGA775 board I have.
