Where to mount exhaust fan?

Hey guys, my case is the Corsair RGB 280X and I plan to have 2 intake fans at the front and a CPU cooler facing those fans to draw the cool air and cool the CPU.

The question now is, should I put the exhaust fan at the back or at the top considering that the GPU and mobo will expel heat upwards. Can the back exhaust fan pull the rising heat and throw it out the back?

Thank you!

It depends on your CPU cooler. If it is an air cooler and blowing air toward the back of the case, then have the fan as an exhaust on the rear of the case. The rear of the case tends to be the most sensible and you can always add another fan to exhaust out of the top later...though the difference won't be too great...

Yes it's a cryorig H7 air cooler facing the front fans so the air will be expelled towards the back of the case.

So I guess the fan should be mounted on the rear! Thanx :)
